Our Work
We fight for education justice by electing progressive school board members who will be champions for education equity.
SFER Action Network fellows have engaged over 600,000 voters, winning 14 races in 5 key cities. Our Fellows build deep community relationships and engage voters in campaigns and greatly increase voter participation in local races.
Our fellowships include...
- Entry level political campaign experience
- Direct voter outreach such as canvassing and phonebanking to increase voter turnout
- Developing expertise in messaging and persuasion
- Community organizing
- Flexible schedule: up to 30 hours a week
